Oops! I'm Late For Your Birthday

Today starts a new challenge at Aud Sentiments. We are sponsored by Ike's Art
I used Rabbit 1 for my card.  When I saw this cutie I just knew he would be perfect for a belated birthday card. I don't know about you, but I seem to be late with cards frequently. You would think a card maker would be on top of her birthday calendar but sadly, no.
I kept the card simple but did use my spellbinders dies to create a fun shaped card. The clock is a die but I can't remember which company makes it.

Life Is A Daring Adventure

I made this card for my oldest son's birthday.  He graduated from college in December and just started working on a wildlife refuge for the National Fish and Wildlife Service.  He loves going birding so his graduation gift was a pair of binoculars.
Shhh don't tell him but we bought him a dslr camera for his birthday. I did a little research and found one in our price range that is perfect for bird watchers.
The papers and embellishments for this card are from a kit by Colorbok. I don't recall where I purchased it but I did have the great idea to buy 2 sets.

Wishing You A Merry Christmas

This is my first project as a DT member for Simply Magnolia.  Yippee!  I love crafting with my Magnolia Stamps and dies so I am super excited to be a member of their team.
For this card I colored up one of my favorite Magnolia Stamps (ok, ok, they are all my favorites)
The challenge at Simply Magnolia is to use red.  I Love this pattern paper and the red is a great pop of color against this silver.  I used more of the super cute mini pine cones for embellishments.

Sending Love At Christmas

I'm loving my new border dies I received for Christmas. I used two of the dies to create this scalloped edge for the card.  I also found some adorable mini pinecones while shopping on ebay.  They add the perfect 3D touch to the card.  The greenery and berries are from a floral spray I found at Michaels.  I just cut off bits to add to my card.
If you want to have a jump start on your Christmas cards, like me, then please join us in our challenges each month at Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra challenge.  It's always anything Christmas goes.

I added stickles to her headband and a little extra bling on the butterflies and I found the perfect heart shaped bling for the sentiment stamp.
The candy conversation hearts are a free download I found but the blog is now listed as invite only so I am unable to share the link

Get well card

I made this card for my brother-in-law who recently spent some time in the hospital. I kept the card simple for mailing and also because it's for a guy.  The dragon is from Bugaboo Stamps.  Since I always think of dragons looking kind of like lizards, I wanted to color it to look like that.

Belated Birthday Card

Well, I goofed.  I didn't get this birthday card done and mailed in time for a friend's birthday.
I love all the images from Mo's Digital Pencil and the one I am currently using is always my favorite.  I can see this image used for so many events, not just a late birthday card.

Kissing Booth

I made this Kissing Booth for my daycare kids for Valentine's Day fun.  The booth is actually our puppet theater.   I added valentine fabric for the curtain and then the rest is all die cuts.  I moved the curtain and hung it from hooks on the wall to take our kissing booth pictures.
The kids have had a great time putting on puppet shows about friendship.

We also took lots of pictures of the kids in the kissing booth to send to parents on Valentines Day.
I can't share pics of the kids but Izzy, our daycare dog, got in on the fun too. She is such a diva that taking her picture was easy compared to the kids.

Izzy is a Malshi (Malteese/Shih tzu).
She is 2 years old (She will be 3 in March)

Christmas card and gift card holder

This is my DT card for Crafty Hazel Nut's Christmas Extra Challenge.  The image on the front is from Bugaboo Stamps.  The faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps.
When I was addressing my Christmas cards last year I realized I needed several cards that could hold gift cards.  In January when I wrote out my Christmas card list, I made sure to make note of which people would need the gift card insert inside. Planning ahead like this will make holiday time so much easier.
