Easter Cards

Happy Easter!
I am cutting it close with getting these cards done.  I finished them just in time to deliver to family tonight at our Easter dinner.  Now all I have to do is decorate cupcakes and make a couple casseroles.
I used the same card design for these cards as I did with my other Easter cards.  I just changed papers and stamps used.  It made for faster work and the cards still all look unique.

Card Details:
Images: Bunny boy from Karen's Doodles, Easter bunny from Polka Doodles, and Bunny Gets a Home from Sassy Cheryl's

Easter Egg: Easter Cricut cartridge cut at 2 inches and layered

Easter Cards

I have been a little late getting my Easter cards done this year.  To make things go a little faster, I chose one card design for all my cards.  I did mix things up a bit with the embellishments and papers though.  Today's cards feature the same digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.  The first card will be hand delivered so I was able to use bulky embellishments.  The second card needed to be mailed so I kept the embellishments flat.  I love the way both cards turned out.

Teen Birthday Card

Happy Spring!
Only in Missouri will our yard need to be mowed while snow is on the ground for the first day of spring!
I made this card for a special young man turning 14 today.  I used the Dude! Cricut cartridge and kept the card simple.  I had this great pattern paper that worked perfectly.

Funny Christmas Card

The challenge this week at 52 CCT is to use a funny Sentiment.  Of course, there is nobody more funny than Stella from Bugaboo Stamps.  I kept the card simply so that the focus is on the image and the sentiment.  I hope you join us for this fun challenge.

Birthday Card

Happy Friday! Today's card is for my sister in law.  She celebrated her 60th birthday yesterday.
I used the same card base as I did for the card featured yesterday on my blog.  I simply turned it into an easel card.
The stamps are from Magnolia stamps. I think Tilda looks great sitting on the fence.

Bingo

We are playing Bingo at Aud Sentiments.  This is my DT project.
I used the image Sweetheart 254 from Art by Miran.
I used the A Child's Year Cricut cartridge for the card base.  The card base was more of a rectangle so I used Cricut Craft Room to make the card more square, my preferred card base. Since we are playing Bingo, I chose to use the diagonal row of two pattern papers, flowers and a die cut.
I also decided to put my sentiment on the inside of my card for this challenge.

Masculine Birthday Card

I made this card for my brother-in-law.  The image is Oscar from Mo's Digital pencil.  I combined him with a sentiment from Bugaboo Stamps.  I think that he looks a little confused...hahaha!
I kept this card simple and simply matted the papers a few times and added the happy birthday corner die.

Birthday Card

I made this card for a friend of mine.  She celebrated her birthday in Africa while on a mission trip. I used the Safari Chic paper pad from DCWV for this card.  The giraffes are from Karen's Doodles.  I have had this image for years but it's always fun to use.  I have several more birthday cards to make before I can get started on my Easter cards.  Guess I had better get busy since Easter is now less than 2 weeks away...yikes!

Green and White Christmas Card

This week at 52 CCT the challenge is to use Green and White.  This challenge is a great way to get started on your Christmas cards.
For my card, I started with a printed paper with a winter scene. I added the snowflake border across the top, the sentiment stamped along the bottom and this adorable Tilda with Snowman from Magnolia Stamp.

Hop Into Spring

This is my DT project for Aud Sentiments.  We are sponsored by Lacy Sunshine Stamps for this challenge and the theme is to use an Easter or Spring Sentiment.
I just love this little cutie.  One of the activities my daycare kids love to do is play with the sidewalk chalk. Usually one of them asks me to draw a hopscotch grid so we can hop, jump and skip.

Birthday Card

My grandmother celebrated her 96th birthday yesterday. She is still going strong and looks great. Hope I feel as good as her at that age.
This was the card I made for her.
I have always used black ink to stamp with but this time I used brown.  I think I love the way the brown looks with the softer colors. Definitely going to be stamping in brown more often.
