Welcome Baby Jace

We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Baby Jace.  One of my daycare moms is pregnant and all the kids are so excited.  We can't wait to meet the new baby and count all his fingers and toes.
Several of our friends and church family have new babies named Jace this year.  I predict that in five years when they are start Kindergarten that they will meet several more boys named Jace.  Seems to be a very popular name.

Prom

I don't scrapbook in chronological order so it is unusual for me to have a layout for an event that just happened.  This is my son's senior prom.  The theme for the dance was Footloose and was held in a building on a local farm.  We went to a friend's  house to take pictures with their collection of tractors.
This is my dt project for Scrapbooker PhD.  The challenge this time is to create a project using die cuts (any machine will do)  I chose to use my Cuttlebug and my Cricut Expression to cut my die cuts.
The red paper is Foil paper I found at Michaels.

New Puppy

My crafting has been temporarily interrupted by the new addition to our family.
I am so excited to share with you a picture of my new baby, Isabella.
I have been telling my husband for years that I want a small indoor dog when the boys move out.  My youngest will be graduating from high school May 18th.  He has decided to attend a local college and live at home but I went ahead with my adoption plans.
I researched for a couple years to find just the right dog.  I wanted a small dog that loves to snuggle, is good with young children and is hypoallergenic.  After looking at all kinds of dogs from Haveneese to Shih Tzus to Yorkies, I finally settled on this adorable ball of fluff.  She is a Malshi which is a cross between a Malteese and a Shih Tzu.  I checked out several breeders but when I was talking to Isabella's breeder, she was sitting in the pen with the mother and Isabella was born while we were talking.  Not sure if it was fate or just perfect timing but it was definitely mean to be. I was really hoping to adopt during the summer months when life is less hectic but I couldn't be any more thrilled with my new baby. She is sweet, adorable, playful and best of all is that she loves to snuggle.

The Paper Shelter is sponsoring us at Aud Sentiments.  Their images are always so much fun to color.

Graduation Projects

I decorated these buckets for my son's graduation reception.  His school colors are Black and Gold.  When I found these gold buckets at a store in Kansas City last fall, I knew I had to find a way to use them for his reception.  They will be sitting on the dessert table filled with his favorite candies.   I used Cricut Craft Room to design and cut the vinyl.

Project Details:

Class Of 2014: Base Camp Cricut Cartridge
School's Out: Locker Talk Cricut Cartridge
