Happy Birthday to My Grandmother!!!!

My Grandmother will be 90 on Monday!!! This is the card I made for her. I hope she likes it. Can't wait to show you the scrapbook layout I made of her and my Grandfather. That will be posted on Monday. For this card I started with the Sweetheart Tilda and colored her with copics. The poodle is flocked but I am not sure it shows up in the picture. I just love how Tilda looks sitting in the chair from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge. All the pattern papers are a kit from Heidi Grace.

Hello Kitty

I made this card for a very special girl. She turned two this week! All the cuts for this card came from the Hello Kitty Greetings and the Hello Kitty Font Cricut carts. I used the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder for the background.

Two cards with same stamp

I needed two cards this week for friends. I decided to use the same stamp and colors for both. The first card will be hand delivered so I used lots of extra embellishments such as a doily, button, prima flowers and a stick pin. the second card needed to be mailed so I just stuck to paper with a ribbon accent. The stamp is from Magnolia Stamps.

Tilda Valentine

Due to being sick, I only managed to make 2 valentines this year. One for my hubby and one for my Mother-in-law. The stamp is Tilda in Hat from Magnolia Stamps. I used the cuttlebug folder spots and dots to emboss the heart and added a few Prima flowers for accents. The Hearts were cut using the George Cricut Cart.

Me and You Together Just My Sketches Challenge

This is my design team layout for Just My Sketches. Just My sketches is a challenge blog with a twist. Deanne gives us a sketch and a list of songs and the challenge is to blend the sketch with the song. For this challenge I chose the song The Climb by Miley Cyrus. The pictures are of my niece and my youngest son. She was struggling to pedal her bike up the slight incline in their yard. My son pushed her all over the back yard that day and they had a great time. I just love these pictures of the two of them together and I felt that the sketch this time really helped to show them off. If you want to play along this time check out the sketch and song list at Just My Sketches.
Layout Details:
Flowers: Sweetheart Cricut cart cut at 1.5 inches
Border flowers: Sweetheart Cricut cart cut at 1.75 inches
Words keep on moving: Base Camp Cricut cart cut at 1 inch
Together: Graphically Speaking Cricut cart cut at 1 inch
Me and You: Grapically Speaking Cricut cart cut at 2 inches

Just My Sketches Feb 1 Challenge

Here is my Design Team layout for Just My Sketches. The fun of these challenges is that Deanne provides a sketch and we are to blend them with a song. My process for this layout was to listen to all the songs while looking at the pictures I had to scrapbook. I chose the song Time of My Life by David Cook. The picture is of my son playing his solo for marching band. The jouraling includes the song lyrics on one side and the details about the layout on the other. Please create along with us this month.
Layout details:
Music note border: Paisly Cricut cart at 1 inch welded in Design Studio
Music tag: Paisly Cricut cart cut at 2 inches
Live: Home Accents Cricut cart cut at 5 inches
Out and Loud: Base Camp Cricut cart welded in Design Studio
Circle: George Cricut Cart cut a 6 inches
